The notions “tight” or “lose” mean the number of hands commonly used by a gambler. Every player has his personal betting habits so all the gamblers can be either “active” or “passive”. For no-limit Texas Holdem loose-aggressive may be separated into 2 types: solid and maniac players.
I'll try to explain you the peculiarities that are in each of those kinds.
Tight-passive Texas Holdem player:
These gamblers have obvious advantage when playing some fixed-limit Holdem, but they are not so fine in gambling some no-limit Holdem as their strategy is bad for it. When gaming against this sort of Texas Holden gamblers:
1. Bluff a lot, make in a raise pre-flop, strive to take down the pot.
2. Just learn the tactics of the player. If they stake a little, you should still proceed with your poker hand when you get something apt. In this case they're perhaps on a draw or have a weak hand. Probably they get a solid combination when they bet a lot.
